Portuguese National Law - Amendments

The new Portuguese nationality law was published on November 10th, 2020, which proceeds to the ninth amendment to Nationality Law n.° 37/81, of 3 October, a law that did not undergo changes since 2018.

Parental responsabilities: alternate residence

Today Law 65/2020 was finally published, which establishes the terms wherein the court can enact the alternate residence of the son in case of divorce, legal separation, declarations of nullity or annulment of the wedding of the parents proceeding, thus, to the change of the article 1906.° of Civil Code.

O Decreto-Lei 94-A/2020, de 3 de Novembro, introduziu alterações significativas ao Decreto-Lei 79-A/2020, de 1 de Outubro (que estabeleceu um regime excecional e transitório de reorganização do trabalho em virtude da Covid-19), sobretudo em matérias relacionadas com o teletrabalho.
